| over the course of a year,
i've learned a lot
it took me a year to figure out that i dont have a chance with someone anymore...
romantically,
i've learned what true friends are, and yet i still have lost my many of them,
i've learned what being a coach really is but i still have a lot to learn,
i've lost my priorities, and gained new ones
i've lost a love,
i've learned what it's like to have the thrill of your life,
i've learned what being unhappy at a job is like,
i've learned that having nothing, is having everything - and having everything is having
nothing,
i've met a lot of new people,
i've failed 2 classes in one semester,
i've felt desperate,
i've felt needless,
i've grown from a boy into a man,
i've become an eagle scout,
i've learned what it's like to feel helpless,
i've played 4 different MMORPG's,
i've learned what it's like to feel unwanted,
i've felt the pain of injury,
i've felt the adrenaline of wrestling again,
i've taken a semester off, and learned how important school is,
i've challenged someone to a fight,
i've never, so much, felt the need for a friend,
i've taken the blame for a friend,
i've learned how to build a computer,
i've received a pay cut,
i've learned what it feels like to be one of the older ones,
i've learned what it's like to have an addiction for something,
i've become more independant,
i've found interest in someone new,
i've never wanted to be a kid again, more.
i've never grown my hair this long,
i've matured,
i've tried,
i've given blood and sweat,
i've given everything i could,
i've dreamt about the past,
i've witnessed a car accident,
i've felt dumb,
i've put many of my "wants" behind my "needs"
i've pampered myself,
i've been on some adventures,
i've had a valentine,
i've worked every holiday for a whole year,
i've partied with co-workers,
i've felt the ultimate joy from coaching, twice,
i've had $4000 in my checking account,
i've had $5 in my checking account,
i've never felt a bigger need for money,
i've been told i'm getting kicked out of my house,
i've never "hated" a person, but they did something to my friend, so now i do,
i've lost a friend (RIP),
i've had no one to talk to when i needed someone to,
i've learned to appreciate what i have,
i've purchased numerous lotto tickets, knowing i wont win,
i've tied bonds with friends, which were lost before,
i've never missed someone so much,
i've never wished i've had someone back in my life more,
i've never hated the holidays' more,
i've learned to appreciate classic rock and rock'n'roll,
i've lost my roots,
i've never believed in some of my atheletes' ability more,
i've lost a grandparent,
i've been happy,
i've been miserable,
i've laughed,
i've cried once,
i've reflected upon my life,
i've cut my losses, and counted my blessings,
i've gone to church,
i've lost a pet,
i've been thankful for life,
i've hoped for death,
i've been thankful for my health,
i've ran wrestling practice,
i've improved in something,
i've taken time out for charity,
i've taken time out for myself,
i've taken time to help a friend in need,
i've taken time to help a stranger in need,
i've pulled over to help someone on a rainy night,
i've experienced cold nights,
i've been lonely,
i've regretted some choices,
i've applauded some of my bad choices,
i've had many sleepless nights,
i've taken on my resposibilities like i should,
i've had fun,
i've been scared for my life,
i've felt extreme sadness,
i've been told i'm depressed,
i've learned to cook... better,
i've seen scary movies, and wasn't scared,
i've lost a pet,
i've been in a cotillian,
i've gone to the movies alone,
i've kicked someone's car,
i've thrown a drink at another driver, in rage,
i've felt greed,
i've re-estiblished my competitive spirit,
i've never been such good friends with my atheletes,
i've never felt more at home with my co-workers,
i've given up on someone,
i've given up on myself,
i've felt anger,
i've felt stress,
i've grown white hair,
i've lost hair,
i've had nightmares and had no one to talk to about them,
i've dreamt of things i couldnt have,
i've had little sleep,
i've done things that i shouldnt' have,
i've learned what i want to be in live,
i'm still searching for my purpose in life,
i've lost my hopes of coaching volleyball,
i've been told that i'm too nice to people i shouldnt be,
i've been questioned,
i've questioned myself,
i've gotten stuck in the rain,
i'm trying to find someone,
i think it's fair to say, i've lost everything, and gained it all back in a different way,
i've learned that i cant express myself in one session,
i've grown as a person.

| last night before i went to sleep, i realized that i didnt have to wake up today at any particular time. it was nice. but still got up early. stopped by school to pick up grade sheets from some of the players. Then just went out, to get away from my life for a second, and get my mind off of it all. i dont know what to do. sometimes i think things will end up the way i want them to, eventually. Maybe i'm kidding myself, i dunno. Maybe it's time to clean out. i dunno. i know this doesnt make sense, i'm just typing. well you all have a good night. | | |

man, it seems that when things look like they will get a little better, they really dont. so frustrating. school, life in general, everything. life just has those unexpected curves and bumps in the road that set you off track.

anyway, volleyball season is quickly reaching it's end, and i just dont know if i've done enough to make this the best season. i must admit, volleyball is not my forte, but i just give what i know. not enough. but anyway we're playing away at norwalk tomorrow, so if you have time, come out and support. we always appreciate it. | | |
